The Four Vintners are a wine wholesaler based in the City. Before we got involved they had a website, but it reflected the company so badly it was nowhere near an asset. They wanted to allow people to browse their standard price list to compete with companies offering corporate supplies like Majestic Wine.
We built them a whole new site that outstripped their existing public image by some margin. The publication of the list online saved them the cost of sales people who would normally have spoken to the customer about pricing over the phone. Companies could now easily get an idea of cost, then get in touch for deals, discounts and deliveries. They found they could also publicise bin-end stock and low turnover products. For certain rare wines orders were made from the United States expanding a business that had been dealing within a few miles of the City of London since 1954.
